So happy to start the FIRST all-women support group at Universidad Hispanoamericana (CR), which supports equality, creates community, and hopefully increases the number of women in Engineering careers in my country, Costa Rica!
Women in Tech Universidad Hispanoamericana (CR) is not just raising visibility and creating a sorority but also contributing to the Sustainable Development Goals:
- ODS 4: Quality Education: Promote access to educational resources, mentorship, and specialized training for women in technology.
- ODS 5: Gender Equality: Aim to reduce the gender gap in STEM by promoting female participation in tech sectors.
- ODS 8: Decent Work and Economy grow: Connect students with job opportunities and provide them with tools to enhance their employability.
- ODS 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure: Foster research, technological development, and female leadership in innovation.
